We really enjoyed seeing a lot of other Japan families and the agency staff!
This was also at the fair... we got a chance to pet a Walleroo! It was super soft and cuddly! So lately, Ivy has been really getting the hang of walking around our house and yard- we are learning how to take her out and about now that she likes to be independant! A lot of people had warned us that once the tots start walking... lookout! I would have to say that in general, I find this stage way easier than her crawling stage! She stays cleaner for one thing! I was not a big fan of her wanting to be down on the floor in any public places, so walking is better in that respect. Also, she really seems to be enjoying going out more. I feel such tremendous joy just watching her walk around our back yard, exploring, playing, carrying things, it's just so cute!
Since the walking started, she seems to have a much better appetite for her food. We are having and easier time at meal times, and that's a big relief. She's finally passed the 20 pound mark and seems to be in a growth spurt!
