Well, it doesn't look like much, but we did get the paint on the
walls! We still have to paint the trim and paint the chair rail,
but its definitely progress! We had a big day on friday, we went to the big Goore's sale and bought a stroller and a crib. Since we don't know when the baby will come, we want to plan ahead and be ready! We picked out a crib that will convert to a toddler bed, and then into a double sized bed later. It is kind of a "mission style" sleigh bed- and we just fell in love with it! The stroller we picked out will meet our needs perfectly. It starts out as a "pram style" and then converts later to a regular stroller.
We had a wonderful time at the baby store-- so many things to look at and to think about. I love the stroller- and I can jusst imagine us on daily walks in the neighborhood- I want to tell the baby all about my favorite trees and plants, meet my favorite neighbors and explore the world together. When I walk past the baby's room, I can't stop thinking about the future!
Congrats Dad!! Looks like your paint job matches mom's crib set perfectly. Expect a phone call or five from Anchorage Feb 21-25, as we try to condense insane amounts of baby product research on the internet from our hotel room. That's right, it's the big shopping trek from Kodiak! Seriously, stand by for incoming phone calls...
