Just a bit more about February...

We headed up to Placerville so Brian and my dad could attend a Madrona winery event. There was close to a foot of snow on the ground and Ivy went crazy for the snow!!!!

She had the BEST time! Made her first snow angel, after Grandpa showed her how!

Oh... And we got a new frog to join Unagi.... It's name is Rainbow!

Ivy in the bath!

Ivy ate a chocolate chip cookie.... And passed out!

We trying to do more play dates - here's Ivy and Addie having a tea party!

So our neighbor Karen came over yesterday and helped us prune our plum tree- I saw an opportunity to dress Ivy up in something pink and pose her for some pictures!!!!!

And to close out February ... This might be the sweetest picture I've taken. Ivy loves her kitties and her kitties are very good sports!

Who wouldn't want to visit sunny and warm Florida in February?

We always look forward to traveling to a warm location for the National Asphalt and Paving Association annual meeting..... Hawaii, San Diego, Phoenix .... Who knew that we'd have 55 degree temperatures and torrential rains!

We lucked out- as a result of the many many nights Brian spends in Hilton properties while working... We got upgraded to a fancy suite at the Waldorf Astoria for a few nights! Sweet! The square footage was close to the size of our house!

We always bring Ivy's baby stroller with us in the suitcase, and she had a Grand time running up and down the Halls! She is very into her babies lately!

Here is the view from our room at night. Too bad it was WAY too cold o get in the pool!

Fireworks... I think from the Magic Kingdom.

We went outside for a walk briefly in between storms.

Note the ominous sky!

Here's Ivy all dressed up for attendance to the cocktail mixer- she gets her own ID badge now!

Our first park visit was Epcot- the skies cleared for us to check it out!

Ivy and Daddy walking towards "France".

Enjoying the sunshine in "Morocco".

Not the real Japan, but the best we can do for now!

Ivy picked out a baby Bambi!

Our friend Shela came with Ivy and I to the Animal Kingdom for the day. I know we missed a lot of it-- it was gigantic!

We rode the flying dinosaur ride which is EXACTLY like Dumbo... With no wait! Ivy chanted "ride!" "ride!"

She was a good sport for her first character meeting!

I love how she is on her tiptoes to see the tigers.

I'm sure he could have watched them for a long time!

We had such a great time with Shela! Ivy calls her Shebe!

Despite the crappy weather, Brian and Ivy and I headed to the Magic Kingdom for the day. It turns out that we were wise to do so- the crowds were minimal and lines were short!

Also a stroke of luck.... We got to see Mickey and Minnie in Toontown Fair 2 days before it was closed for good! Ivy got so excited to see them- it was without doubt the highlight of the trip for all of us!

Another day at Epcot! Ivy enjoyed the fishies!

I'm not sure what Disney movie this cat was associated with, but there was no line... So we were in!

Morocco! We ate delicious tabouli for lunch!

Ivy was entranced with the Taiko drums. We bought two CDs!

Back at the hotel ... Ho hum.

One nice afternoon with warm temperatures!

All dressed up for a final day at the Magic Kingdom. Long lines for the Monorail.... A bad sign!

Ivy loved her mouse ears balloon!

Due to the massive crowds and the absence of naps.......we decided to abandon the Magic Kingdom and head back to the hotel....

Long day of Disney.... Make that a long week of Disney!

Completely worn out!
