We have been enjoying the spring weather... the flowers, the warm sunshine, the allergies, the constant yard work... and here are some beautiful flowers to show for our hard work. Between the orange blossoms and the jasmine, it smells wonderful in the backyard! We are incorporating some new soft seating near the fireplace to be able to spend many comfortable summer nights outside.

No baby news yet-- the adoption agency sent us an email yesterday just saying "hi, we know how hard it is to wait..." It was nice to get that email and know that we're not forgotten! It is hard to wait, but we must be patient.

For me, school is drawing to a close. I have my final projects in all three classses due in the next 2 weeks. It's been a hard spring to be in school, with the adoption process being my top priorty. Though I have whined about school a lot in the last couple of months, I will be rewarded with an Associates Degree in Graphic Design in a couple of weeks. That feels pretty good!

Brian is in Southeastern Kentucky visiting family and turkey hunting this week. We can't wait to take our first trip to his homeland with the baby someday.
